• What type of contracts do you offer for drivers?
  To work legally on 1099, driver must have an open business with the IRS (he must be able to provide IRS letter with his EIN) and he must have open business bank account.
• What is the minimum driving experience that EMR requires?
  At least 18 months of verifiable driving experience.
• Are All Miles Paid? (Empty & Loaded)?
  Yes, we pay all miles, Address to Address.
• In case of accident (driver’s fault) what charges can driver expect?
  Deducted by invoice, every week, from paycheck by agreement with driver.
• Do you pay drivers for detention, extra stops, layovers and inspections?
  Detention ~$25/hour if driver waits more than 4 hours full layover ~ $100 | Extra stop $50 | For good inspection, depending on level $100 - $300.
• Do You Have A Pet & Rider Policy?
  Yes, but Driver will need to cover truck cleaning expenses.
• Driver payment information?
  First paycheck comes on the second week (if you start Monday 1st, first paycheck 15th) and then every Friday (Direct deposit).
• What kind of ELD do you use?
  Samsara. We drive legally by logbook only!
• Where EMR operates the most?
  Most times we operate Midwest, East, sometimes West. During winter time, our top priority is safety.
• Default Home time for drivers, except Florida.
  One full week on the road - 2 days off. Drivers from Florida must leave the truck at the yard and fly home (company covers all travel expenses). Note, drivers from top FL (Jacksonville) can go home with truck, but must stay OTR 3 week minimum.
• What Are Your Trucks Governed At?
  70 MPH
• Are Trucks Fully Equipped With APU's, Microwaves, Inverters, Fridges, PrePass, Ipass?
  New trucks are equipped with APU, Inverter, Fridge. All trucks have PrePass and Ipass.
• How long is your orientation?
  Most of the time one day, but can last for 3 days maximum.
• How do you assign trucks to drivers during orientation?
  By driving test results, candidate attitude and overall driving experience.
• Does company cover truck parking expenses during home time?
  No, driver will need to cover truck parking by him self.
